Children Poisoned by Botchy Vaccines Die During Chinese New Year Festivities

Health scandals in China from botchy vaccines to tainted infant products has not only damaged the trust of parents but also grievously harmed many of the nation’s children. And now, in two recent cases, the ongoing crisis is claiming more young lives.

At a time when Chinese are celebrating the Lunar New Year with their families, two families are mourning the loss of their children after they received what are likely to be poisonous vaccines.

One boy named Han Xu, pronounced Hahn Shoo, was born on Oct. 29, 2014. When he was 10 months old, he received a leprosy vaccination. Soon after, he was debilitated. On Feb. 8 this year, he passed away.

“I am definitely going to seek justice for my child,” said his father, Mr. Han. He explained the situation in detail to Epoch Times reporters on Feb. 11.

Han Xu’s Story

Mr. Han said that after his son received the leprosy vaccination in 2015, he started having fevers and spasms. He was taken to an intensive care unit (ICU) where he was kept for two months and afterward, left in a vegetative state.

The parents kept him alive through nasogastric intubation using a feeding tube through his nose. After some time, he could smile and eat but he had lost his ability to speak and walk. Han’s immunity suffered severely and he regularly suffered fevers.

Both parents frequently took their son to Beijing for medical treatments, paying for treatment from major hospitals in the city. This was the first time in three years that they, as a family, could follow the tradition of returning to their hometown for the Lunar New Year, which fell on Feb. 5.

But before the Lunar New Year, the four-and-a-half-year-old once again suffered a fever and was sent to a local hospital. Han was soon transferred to a provincial children’s hospital. By this time though, he was already terminally ill.

The hospital diagnosed him with severe viral meningitis.

Currently, the boy’s body is being held in a mortuary and the local government is neither releasing it nor giving an explanation for their actions.

Mr. Han said that his son had various examinations and tests to check for issues with his metabolism or hereditary problems. All tests returned normal.

At every step of their battle, the parents took the side of their son but the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) would never acknowledge that it was the leprosy vaccination at 10 months that caused Han’s ailments. Specialists had always been barred from signing off on any evaluations that they did on the boy.

“I’ve followed the proper procedures, and they just ignore me,” Mr. Han said. “To care for our child, we lost our jobs; we could only rely on odd jobs to make enough money to survive. We’re from the countryside and our family is not wealthy, and from the time, our son got sick.

“Until now, we’ve spent over one million yuan ($150,000).”

Mr. Han said not only did they mortgage their house but they’ve also taken out more loans. He said that the CCP claimed every time the boy had a fever that 80 percent of the medical fees would be reimbursed to the parents. This has not once come true.

Any reimbursements received were miniscule compare to the overall costs, Mr. Han said.

“I definitely will take legal measures for my son. I’ll find the departments involved, and I’ll defend my son’s rights.

“When my son was born, he was completely health. When he had that vaccination shot, he became like this, and now he’s gone.

“How can I get over this? I won’t just get over this!”

He Shangze’s Story

Another four-and-a-half-year-old child named He Shangze, pronounced Huh Shahng Zuh, has also experienced detrimental side effects after receiving a vaccination.

After medical intervention to save his life were ineffectual, the boy passed away on Feb. 10. His parents could not be reached for an interview.

According to public documents obtained in August 2018, He received vaccinations for Polio and DPT (diphtheria, whooping cough, and tetanus) on Oct. 28, 2014. The next evening, the baby returned to the hospital with a high fever and went into shock. He was sent to the ICU and doctors diagnosed him with meningitis.

He’s mother, Gao Li, pronounced Gow Lee, suspected that it was a problem linked to the vaccinations. In March 2015, a specialist group was able to determine that Hu Shangze’s affliction was a reaction to a poisonous vaccine.

Parents React

The multiple cases of tainted milk-powder left a lingering fear among parents in mainland China. Now, they are burdened with additional fears of poisonous vaccines.

News of the two young deaths has other parents greatly concerned about their own children who have also been vaccinated.

One parent left a message saying, “I can’t stop crying. We’re all mothers of children. This sort of pain bores into one’s heart.

“Kids in this country [China] are unfortunate. Tainted milk powder, poisonous vaccines, child trafficking, dangerous food, pollution, and this brainwashing education system are awaiting them. If you’re not careful, then you’ll be infected [by something].

“From one’s body to one’s spirit, every aspect is ruined. Is there another country in this world that is as dangerous?”

A parent whose child has also suffered from poisonous DPT and polio vaccines sarcastically remarked that this wasn’t the heavens being cruel. It is the “warmth” of socialism.

One parent also claimed that health statistics across the country are being faked. She said that in one county alone, about 20,000 children had been given expired vaccines and that many children were now cripple.

No less frighteningly, the CCP authorities, instead of giving comfort and remedies, have reacted with violent suppression of the issue.
